Welcome to my Folk Art Shack
I am captivated by the tugboat and marine life of British Columbia’s Westcoast.
When I come across a working tug I am enthralled by the colour, strength, movement of these boats and men that work on them.
Nearly everyone stops, watches, responds in some way to a passing tug.
Tugs reflect honesty, emotion, and strength. I can’t resist them.
I refer to myself as an “industrial folk artist.”
I feel a deep need to record our traditional Westcoast lifestyles and natural environments.
If your on the Island please feel free to drop in the studio shed…..by appointment or if the sign is out.
My address is 320 – 2nd Street, over the hill, behind the Halls, waterside, below and near the church.
